 These are great and reusable! Easier than Swiffer Nov 07, 2009

I have hardwood floors and this makes cleaning a breeze! Make sure you have at least TWO of these refills. Rather than sweeping (does anyone really sweep anymore?) and getting dust/fur all over the place, I use one of these dry. Then I remove the dry one, put on a clean refill, spray the floor with a mix of Murphy's Oil Soap and water as I go with the mop. You can wash both of the refills and you're ready for next time! I don't like Swiffer because I feel like it's wasteful and filling up the landfills, but also this mop glides a lot better, too! When I did use a Swiffer, it would annoy me because it kept getting "stuck" and flipping over due to the friction of the refill on the moist floor surface. These refills glide easily and don't get stuck like that, so it's much less frustrating!

I love the idea of being able to throw my mopheads into the wash after each use and having a like-new mop each time! I have used cotton terry mop heads and fashioned my own out of soft, absorbant microfiber cloths meant for car detailing. The cotton were OK, but the elastic that held them onto the mop itself stretched out after repeated washings so they were very short-lived. The microfiber cloths worked very well but were a pain to wrap onto the mop - and they never stayed put. The 3m mob covers are a good cross between the two except I find them to be not quite as absorbent as the cloths. However, they are a little more abrasive - more like cotton terry - so they're actually better at picking up stuck-on dirt. All in all, they are a very good product and I imagine I'll be using them for a long time.

I LOVE this mop. I have light colored bamboo floors and 2 long-haired, messy cats and cleaning up after them involves a lot of vacuuming and moping. With this mop and the refills, I always have a clean mop pad ready to go. These mop pads are lint and mostly streak free.The only way they could be improved would be to make them thicker.

Many of the reviews I've read for this product have mentioned how effective it is cleaning wood floors. I've been using it to clean my ceramic tile floors in the kitchen, dining room, and hall entry, and it does a great job. I dust mop first (4 indoor cats make that a necessity!), followed by a wet mop which I rinse several times during the process. I use water only and find it does a great job of removing cooking spells, coffee drips, etc. I am able to use both microfiber cloths several times before they need to be laundered, providing I rinse well between jobs.
This is the only product I've found that works well on tile and is fast and effective. As previous reviewers have mentioned, I appreciate that I'm no longer relying on disposable cloths that add to the land fill, but can reuse this product indefinitely.

These mops are terrific. They are bigger than Swiffers so they get the job done quicker. I just replaced most of the carpet in my house and have a big furry dog. I was going through a LOT of Swiffer cloths just for one cleaning. Now I finish faster, I'm not creating more waste for the landfill and I can use them wet too, to do a thorough cleaning!
