Poor overall Sep 19, 2010
By Pen Name Found about this lamp on the MikeTechShow podcast. Mine doesn't have a blueish light...seems white to me.
The neck on the lamp isn't super long, so keep that in mind.
After 5 months of owning it, turning it on/off has become troublesome. Doesn't turn on/off very easy anymore.
A family member got one of these and it didn't last more than a month.

good night light Jun 21, 2009

This night light functions good and provides enough light to read, but the blue- violet color is irritating.

Good little LED lamp Aug 29, 2010
By Dr. Jeffrey Schnitzer It is light and compact and works. It is very bright for an LED lamp, which is good - it really provides enough extra light for reading. Does not get hot. It is somewhat difficult to figure out just where to touch it to turn it on or off, and it comes with extremely meager documentation.

Do not purchase - does not work Aug 28, 2010
By DAVID M KATINSKY I purchased two of these for night stand lamps and neither my wife nor I can get these to turn on or off 99% of the time. Do not waste your money.

Product description not accurate. Nov 13, 2010
By Shadowman One of the selling points for me was, "To turn on the lamp simply touch the base of the lamp where there is an orange illuminating ring that indicates where to touch." This is completely inaccurate. There is a simple on/off switch on the cord, and no lit orange ring. So I returned it.
Also, I wasn't impressed with the light output or quality of the light tone. This might be because I bought it to replace a broken halogen desk lamp. I like the idea of saving energy and slightly lowering the electric bill with LEDs and I also use cfls in much of my house. But in this case LEDs just weren't sufficient. The light is too narrowly focused for my large desk and not bright enough. So I'm probably sticking with halogen lamps for the time being.
