Nice but not perfect Oct 23, 2011 By Holly S
Okay so its exactly how it looks in the picture. I just want to mention that unless you use extremely low wattage bulbs you will never get the 3 lights effect in the main picture - I'm only using 2 40w and the whole lot just glows uniformly. Also it has a heavy black cord/plug which in my case looks ugly against a pale floor and white walls.

This lamp is of exceptional high quality. Very heavy and sturdy. The metal poles are very thick and the base wood(which is beautiful) is solid dense wood. I like the foot pedal also. For the just under a $100.00, this lamp is an awesome deal. It give light very well and the shade is pretty. It is very tall and almost as tall as me. I love retro modern furniture and I will be giving Adesso my repeat business.

This lamp arrived today and I set it up in a very modern room with red lights for Christmas. (I plan to change colors to compliment my mood as times goes on.) It was very easy to assemble and seems sturdy. I light is soft and sensual and fills most of the room. The lamp itself takes up very little room and is pleasing to the eye. I should have bought 2! LOVE IT!!!

Very solid wood base and overall construction. Paper shade is sturdy. Bright enough to light our small living room. And its sleek design looks great with our other furniture.

This is a great quality lamp. It uses three lightbulb and is bright enough to light up a bedroom or small living room. The lamp is pretty tall and looks substantial. I might buy a second one....
