Description

Dramatic lighting for your home. The Outreach Arc Lamp is a gigantic arc lamp that is finished in Satin Steel with a 15" round black marble base. A oversized white acrylic dome shade that adjusts independently is suspended from an adjustable balance arm and will bring light right where you need it most. The Outreach Arc Lamp features an on/off foot step switch and uses one 150 watt bulb. This Arc Lamp stands 64" to 90" in height and has a maximum depth of 75". The shade is 8" in height and has a 15" diameter.

This is a well made and well designed lamp. It is aesthetically pleasing. It is very large, a fact that I had not fully comprehended when I read the product description. Luckily we have a loft so it actually works very well but if you have a small apt or other living space, be aware that the arc spans out quite a ways. The product is made of good quality materials and looks like it will last a while.

Lamp was relatively easy to assemble. Had to coax the wires a bit during assembly but finally got it together. The lamp looks fantastic, balance is good, though i'm not sure it will hold a high arc. The drawbacks are that it has a plastic (acryllic) dome that is pretty cheap and flimsy looking, though it looks great when the lamp is on, and I wish it had a switch at the bulb as well as the foot pedal. It would be nice to be sitting in a chair under this and be able to turn it on without having to get out of the chair. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. So far I'm really happy with it. It also doesn't have felt pads for the base. The base is just a slab of marble, so purchase some felt pads if you have hard floors.

Perfect for over small dining room table in a room with no overhead lighting. Marble base is heavy, lamp is generally sturdy. Adjustable in height. Assembly best with two people, as the lamp is large and aligning all the parts would be diffcult otherwise.

This was a joke. After a very difficult assemble, the item did not work. After claiming for a return/refund, thee store told me the manufacturer had issue a "destroy order" for this item, so they refunded me and the lamp went straight to the trash bin!
