Well I'll admit I got these pens purely to make up my order to the value where I could get the free shipping, but what do you know? They're actually great pens. Unlike many similar products, they seem to always write instantly and easily. I might have preferred another colour to red perhaps, but that's my only criticism. Being cheap, they have the added advantage of not causing you to panic if you lose one! Highly Recommended.

A dozen pens for a little more than a dollar is quite a deal any way you look at it. These pens work right out of the box and write smoothly. I enjoy the absence of those messy globs of ink sometimes associated with inexpensive pens. I use the red pens to grade papers or to mark things that I want to stand out. If you're checking something for the second time, it can be helpful to use two ink colors for differentiating the sets of marks that were made first or second.

These pens are not the click type with retractable points. To keep from losing the cap, just keep it on the other end of the pen while writing. Bic guarantees satisfaction with these pens or your money back. With Amazon's usual strong backing, it's like having a double guarantee.

Round Stic bic pens have always been my favorite and these pens were on a better then department store special. I just started working as a teaching assistant and needed correcting pens. These are great pens, but sometimes they have a hard time getting started. I've spent sometimes 5 minutes scratching them on odd surfaces until they start to write. Once used for the first time, they have never failed me since.

They are just good pens and that's it. I was hoping the ink would be a little darker but they are not. I'll be using them for a while until I find the ones that matches my style.
