Not for a Dell 15" Inspiron laptop May 31, 2008
By Mike

This is a clever design and would be a very handy transporter for home use and perhaps even for travel for some laptops. This is also an attractive color that's priced $5 lower than identical cases in other color combinations.
The only problem is that the case didn't work with my Dell 15.4" Inspiron. The computer was a very tight fit in the base (zipper would barely close), and the possible convenience factors were negated by the case's placement of the power-cord slot and the straps that connect the base to the lid. The power-cord slot is in the center of the lid, but the Dell power connector is located off center, so the cord is severely pinched. The side straps also cover the Dell's USB connectors, making them unusable unless you remove the computer from the base.

Great option for a portable laptop workstation Nov 09, 2007

I am the type of codehead that works on her laptop many places around the house in a single day. I go from coding in bed, to the couch, to an office, to another couch ... you get the picture, right?!
This portable "work desk" (that is what it reminds me of) is nice because you can stash the AC adapter in the pocket. I have a 15" Lenovo and it works fine for that. I would not want to use this as any semblance of a laptop case since I do not think it was meant for that. It is a great way to store a laptop in an area (especially if you have kids or pets who could get to it). It provides a good amount of a protection and is wonderful as a heat dissipater for my lap. Definitely a nice item.
21 Nov 07 - I still like the case but have two little gripes. The zipper gets stuck and kind of curls down on itself and the material gets dirty easily.
I thought I was going to buy a second one but decided against it because of it. One is fine for me. Would I re-order it. Only if I could not find something comparable.
24 July 08 - This little PocketTop is still holding up. But the zipper is almost useless at this point and is VERY difficult to close and has folded backwards (instead of molding better to the lip of the product).
I hope that in later versions of this product that they can do a better job with the zipper -- it's extremely difficult to work with!

Perfect Bag Jun 30, 2008

I love this bag. It's perfect for my Mac and a little paperwork. I wish the front pocket could be closed. Otherwise it's great.

Handy organizer- good worktop for sofa and car trips Mar 07, 2009

Its rather bulky and unweildy to use for carrying it to work etc. The work surface concept is the plus to this unit. Its quite nifty for keeping all the additional things together at home and makes a good unit to work from for the car on trips. A shoulder strap that could be removed would be a big plus as that hand hole is fine for home but not too convenient when you're carting a lot of things around. I keep my netbook in a little sleeve with a pocket-most of the time its all I need. Then I keep the rest of the stuff...the ac adapter, portable mini dvd, cords, media etc in a little courier sort of carrier bag w strap. It can go sort of crammed in my other rolling carrier. I find this case best for keeping parts together and providing a nice work surface. I thought the orange would be loud but you really don't notice it.

Best Laptop Case Jan 01, 2009
By Jennifer L. Rounds Bryant

I bought this case in orange two years ago when I purchase a laptop for my children. The orange color guarantees that it can be spotted all over the house. The children use the laptop in the case on the floor, their laps, and on top of a plastic storage bin. My son has dropped the laptop countless times while zippered into the case, and no damage has been found. The computer still works like it did when I bought it two years ago.
The case is so functional that I ordered another one yesterday when I ordered a new laptop. The zipper still works, and the 15.4 inch screen sized laptop has no trouble fitting.
