I wish they had shown the inside cover in the pictures Dec 09, 2009
By A Cat This is a very nice notebook. I bought a few to write memory books for each of my three boys, and therefore was hoping that it would be presentable on the outside as well as the inside. The outside is perfect, but the inside cover is a blueline advertisement, and quite unattractive. I will try and submit my own customer image so you can see it yourself and decide whether you would like to look at it every time you open the book or not. The other things I dislike about the notebook are the words "Date" on every upper right corner and "Page" on every lower right corner. I would prefer something cleaner, and therefore, I will be returning the product.

Great Notebook, a few things to consider Mar 24, 2010
By Real Product Owner Loved the notebook overall. I originally bought the notebook because I liked the idea of the tabs that I could use to organize it into sections. Where this fails is that when you tear out the labels (via the pre-perforated line) it leaves about 1/32 of a page which is of a higher gauge paper. This causes the notebook to have a hard time being held open at first. After that, it kind of becomes an annoyance for folding pages in half and putting them into the notebook like a folder. The Blueline advertisements and self-love write-ups on the inside get a little tiring as well. Also, any medium nib fountain pen users out there might be a little careful when purchasing this notebook. Using Noodler's Sequoia Green it is not possible to write on both sides of the page without making both sides unreadable. This is possible with AT Cross ballpoints and Pilot G2 07. Works great with both. Would highly recommend otherwise.

Perfect Size and Layout Dec 11, 2009
By F. M. Pepoon I bought this notebook to use during work meetings, and it is perfect. Just inside the cover is a page of labels for the front and spine of book, and there are index tabs. It appears the page could be torn out and run through a printer, although no template information is given. I love the Date and Page space on each page, as there is an Index at the front of the notebook that is quite handy for referencing important information in the notebook. I like the ruled layout as well, which I use for notes on follow-up and research items. The size is perfect for me, it fits in my laptop bag without taking up much room. The paper quality is good, but I did get some bleed-through using a Sharpie micro-point pen. Switching to a gel pen solved that - I want to write on both sides of the page. The outer appearance is one of quality and professionalism. Overall, this is much better than a composition notebook. Not only did I just order more for myself, my husband (a construction engineer) took one look at the notebook and asked me to order additional for him.

OK but not too sturdy Jan 10, 2011
By jj I think all products like this depend on how you use them. I keep my notebook open on my desk all day taking notes and flipping back and forth from prior notes.
For this use the cons are:
* Thin cover bows and won't close flat after weeks of use.
* The pages are thin and the corners roll up and fold over with repeated use.
* Date and Page tags on each page are wasted space for me.
* I would prefer 8"x10" size instead of the 7.25" by 9.25"
For me the Pros are:
* Paper is nice to write on with Zebra Sarsa 0.7mm black. No bleed through.
* Ruling is about 7mm per line which is ok for me.

By TV Fan I use these notebooks as personal journals. I like the paper and the fact that it's lined. I would recommend this notebook to anyone.
