 Not the right size... Apr 07, 2011

The pocket on these is 8 1/2" x 11" as advertised, but the piece that holds the pocket in the binder adds another 1/2 inch or so. So when I put it in my standard-sized binder, these pockets stuck out the end. I ended up cutting off the three-hole punch piece and just punching the pocket itself.

Thes pockets are nice, well built, and usefull. But they are way to large for my binders. However, they might fit into a very large binder.

I thought these would be the answer to my long search only to be disappointed. Although they are easy to use and very sturdy they are so big that they stick out of every binder I put them in by about an inch and I am unable to use them in my zipper portfolio.

I was using the item in a binder to keep post it notes, small papers, etc. After a few uses the "zip loc pull tab" came right off. Obviously this makes it useless so I can't recommend this product. Maybe if you use the product for storage that is not opened and closed several times you might have a product you could use.
