4Compact, sleek, and dual-powered!  Jul 14, 2010 By Professor Butterscotch
I have had this mouse for 2 years now to replace the Microsoft 3000 wireless that I hated for its poor response, and it never failed! Battery life is very good, a pair lasts at least 6 months of daily usage. I like the fact that the USB receiver fits snugly underneath the mouse if you want to instantly shut it off and carry it around.

It's not as ergonomic as other mice, but I have little hands, so using it wasn't really difficult for me. For the tracking abilities, it works well on most surfaces - so far it worked well without a mousepad most of the time except for when I use it on the desk in the office I worked, so I had to use a mousepad there.

Don't expect it to feel like the usual mice (e.g. Logitech, etc). I at first thought it felt pretty cheap due to its lightweight design, and the mouse buttons took a little getting used to, but in my opinion the mouse isn't too flimsy.

I absolutely LOVED the fact that it was dual-powered, so if your batteries suddenly die, you can simply uncoil the wire from within the mouse casing, and plug it into a slot at the back of the USB receiver. Voila! Wired mouse! The only problem I had was the funky way the rubber thing at the back of the receiver where you connect the wire to twists in a funny way. But that wasn't too much of an issue. Overall, I like this product very much!
