Well crafted binder Feb 22, 2011 By OHR
The quality of this DayTimer binder is excellent. The leather is glove soft, the stitching is excelelnt and neat and the color is perfect. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quality product that will provide years of value. It's great that they provide samples (about three months worth) of the one page/day, two page/day, two page/week so you can try them to see what works best for you.

The leather organizer comes with plenty of places to put you cards, papers and pens. It has a zippered inside pocket perfect for stowing away things you don't want to lose. While Day-Timer calls this a "Leather" planner, it feels more like a bonded type of leather. I hope it wears like leather over time. We'll see.

I don't like the belting they sewed around the edges as this make it looks cheap. Unlike a Franklin planner it has no pockets on the rear inside cover to stow papers and cards. Just a slot to stick a small pad in it. Which is good as Franklin does not make this. All pockets are in the inside front cover. While the zippers work good they are a bit small, should hold up. The sides near the zipper is cloth and colored to match the leather.

The front inside cover has a pocket that is very handy to throw paper receipts, tickets, and thicker items. There are plenty of slots for your credit cards, drivers license etc.

The leather itself has a smooth surface and even though they call this "distressed" I would say it does not look it. However, the leather color is a multi-color tan to imitate the "distressed" color of leather. But that's only the color not the leather itself. Otherwise the planner is functional, good looking, and well made, plus you can pack a lot away in it. Comes with a plastic zippered pouch and undated calendar pages and sample refills. All and all, not a bad planner for the price.

Not sure how I've managed without this for so long. My Day-Timer is everything I hoped it would be. If your life seems to be spinning out of control, I urge you in the most animated language to get a Day-Timer and take charge once again.

I bought this to replace my Franklin Covey that was peeling after 5 years. This is nicely constructed and really feels of great quality. I hope to get 20yrs of service out of this :)

Nicely crafted product with several business/credit card size pockets on front inside cover. Still haven't found daily inserts that fit my needs, but do like the binder.
