A Couple Things I Wish I Had Know Before Purchase Nov 15, 2008 By Chloe H.
I purchased this planner in memory of some of my family members who have battled cancer. And while I applaud the idea and concept of this planner, here is what I wish I knew before I spent a lot of money and time on this item. First, what you are ordering is just the planner alone. When I saw the photo of the planner with the calendar in it and the description that said it held a certain size insert, I assumed that meant it came with that insert. It does not. The insert (calendar) that you need for the item is available for another $22.99 before shipping (to me, this is a lot of money for a $30+ pocket size planner). Also, the color of this item is very different that what is shown in the photo. I was pretty surprised when I opened the box and saw that the color was more of a dark salmon color than a pink. And the leather is not pebble grain as described. It has a flat matte finish. Lastly, the shipping on this item was very slow and the cost high. Between tax, shipping, and inserts, this planner cost me almost $80 (a lot different than what I had in mind for a mid-grade $30+ pocket-size planner).
