I am rating them 5 stars because both the product and the customer service were/are excellent. I mention customer service because I did have to contact them after a slight problem.
Amazon condensed my two-line title in the gift-tag field in such a way that a letter meant for the second line of the nameplate appears to be part of the first line instead. The vendor faithfully recreated what Amazon sent to them. I e-mail Trophy Central with the original Amazon confirmation e-mail (which shows the two lines correctly) to explain the problem, and the same evening I had an e-mail response, an apology, and a promise to quickly replace and send out a second nameplate. A couple of days later, I now have the corrected version.
The lesson for potential buyers: if your two-line title is anything out of the ordinary, include in your gift tag description a foolproof explanation (maybe a line 1:..., line 2:... or something). That said, I'm sure my experience was/is rare, and in any case, the company did an A+ job fixing the situation, so I would definitely recommend them.

Rosewood base, golden lettering on polished black plate. Much better than expected for the money. A very quality product. Here's a hint: you may not be able to figure out how to indicate what name you want on the plate. I couldn't. There's no place in the ordering process where you can indicate this. The answer is: order it, then send an email to the seller indicating what name you want. Amazon really should let us know this in advance. Probably many people start their order, then cancel it before completion when it looks like the item will be sent without them having a chance to say what they want put on it.

I was a bit hesitant to buy something like this on line but it is beautiful. Much nicer than I expected for the money. I received one with incorrect spelling and the vendor was very quick to respond and replace it so I had it in time for Christmas.

The quality of the nameplate is excellent. I ordered for my desk at my office, and my boss decided he wanted one as well after seeing it.
Ordering was painless. One promptly sent email from the seller asking what the lettering was. The order was shipped the same day and arrived in perfect condition.
