4solution for  Oct 06, 2006 By R. Gibson
I had been experiencing jumpy mouse pointer movement with a Logitech MX700 optical mouse and an LX7 laser mouse. Logitech Support Answer ID 29 described that a black or wood grain surface could cause erratic mouse pointer movement. Those are the surfaces that I have. This is a link to the support document.

I chose the silver Fellowes Microban mousepad (model 5934001) for its higher reflectivity. It measures 3/32-in (3mm) thick by 9-in (23cm) wide by 8-in (20cm)deep. The thinness of this pad is useful for fitting over the integrated black mousepad on a keyboard tray. I chose the pricier Microban product because surfaces do get a bit grimy around my workstation.

5Great Basic Mousepad  Nov 29, 2008 By Shari
I got one of these about a year ago, when I got sick of trying to find a cute/patterned mousepad. I got ones that fell apart, ones that curled up (or down!) on the edges, and even one that was little more than a piece of paper.

So I decided I'd rather stop wasting money on these things and just buy something cheap that would WORK. And this one does. Wonderfully.

The rubber gripping keeps it from sliding - EVER. The soft rubber material doesn't curl up or down or any which way - it just stays put. The grey surface provides excellent "traction" for my optical mouse (I used it with a ball mouse, as well - and the traction for that was great, too). I have no idea what the "Microban" aspect is actually doing, but it's nice to know it's there and allegedly doing something.

But most importantly - It's cheap and it works. JUST what I was looking for.

I'm planning on getting another one for my second PC.

4Smaller when I used it  Oct 25, 2008 By AM "AM"
The item arrived on time and is as described but I was a bit disappointed when I received it because it is a bit small. Next time I will go for a larger mouse pad next time - larger by an inch or two on either side.

1Horrible after 2 months use. It Curls up on you and is useless.  Aug 10, 2011 By Dean A. Wall
I purchased 2 of these. after owning a wowpad four years. Within the 1st month both of them started to bubble up in the middle making my mouse not work so well.
In the 2nd month it curled up so bad I tried double sided tape which worked for about 10 minutes as the mouse pad has a no slip layer on the bottom that comes off
VERY easy so there went that. My significant other taped hers down on the edges and the tape came up. thats how powerful the curl is.
Just whatever you do stay away from these things. they are cheep and seriously live up to the name. pure junk.
they are good at 1st. micro thin and all. but fails bad after a month. pay a couple more dollars for a better product.
wow!

5Silver is good for laser mice  Jun 17, 2011 By R. Burns
I've used the same black Fellows Microban mouse pad (8" x 9") for at least five years and it's holding up great, stays clean and washes up well with dishsoap and water. I have a 2nd one that I keep in my laptop bag because it's only .10" thick and doesn't take up much space. Recently I switched from a older optical mouse to a laser mouse and found that the cursor was a tiny bit jumpy, only the smallest amount that would be noticeable doing precision Photoshop work. Thought about it... black & optical.. and decided that black might be one of the worst color choices and switched to this "silver" mousepad. The color is a deep pewter gray and the mouse cursor action is smooth.
