NOT WATERTIGHT Dec 17, 2005
By fuzz I just received this bag. It's very nice (will comfortably hold a couple of laptops if you're that occasionally that geeky--I am) except for the fact that the design isn't watertight. The bottom of the interior of the bag is exposed on the sides--there is a guard to prevent it from getting wet if it is set down in water, but that guard will also act like a cup to collect rain and snow.
If you only carry your laptop in the sunshine or to and from various parking garages this product may be for you, but carry it outside in a storm and your laptop will be in a puddle of water when you arrive.

By Doug I do not plan to ever fill this brief with water or float it in a lake so I am amused by the fuzz review. I am a lawyer and this is the perfect style to carry around a case load. I believe the style you carry says something about you and this brief tells my clients that I make money the old fashioned way - I EARN it! This bag EARNS my accolades anytime. I highly recommend this bag.
