Our keysafe is installed indoors in an industrial location. If you want a safe that'll hold a ring full of keys this is the one to get-- it's just the right size.

The product is built like a tank; very heavy cast construction. Combination is easy to change later if you want. Also comes with a heavy rubber boot that fits over the whole thing if you wish to install it outdoors.

I gave it four stars for one minor quibble. The combination requires four digits, but you can enter them in any order and the safe still opens. This enables 24 "different" combinations no matter what you have programmed. It also limits you to using four DIFFERENT digits (you can't set it to, say, 1-7-7-6, for instance). It won't defeat a professional thief, but if all you're doing is keeping honest people honest, or creating an exterior key drop, it's fine.

Pros: all metal, easy combo change, good size inside (i used a keyring to hold the keys together, other wise they would fall out when opened), does what it needs too.

Cons: if you mount it you have to punch out the mount holes in the back (different from the smaller ones), the rubber cover does not open easy so i left it off, and the rubber door holder seems not designed well (i wish it came off like the smaller units)

Over all I would recommend it to someone else.

con's take allot more time then other keboxes to set different codes all the time (for nightly rental situations)
pro's great for room compared to others, only one ive found with enough room for key and keyfob

We bought this box for my grandmother so the nurses can come in and take care of her. The last box we had the combination was easy to change, to easy and it got reset by accident and was unable to use after that. This box is easy to set but can not accidentally be reset. The box is strong and has lots of room inside of it. Very easy to use. The numbers are the same color as the box so if there is not a lot of light it will be hard to see. So make sure you place it in a well lit area or have a flash light.

This key safe has plenty of room for two car keys, one with a remote and flashlight, the other with a tiny pocketknife. It's easy to use, and provides a very safe place for keys. It's especially useful for making sure that someone in the family who shouldn't drive, can't get the car keys.
