Good basic key box Jun 23, 2009
By D. Rubens This product is solid and well constructed. The one "negative" is that the number of possible codes is limited because the order you push the buttons doesn't matter. For example, 1234 is the same as 4321, 2134, 3124, etc. I knew this when I bought it, so I didn't downgrade the number of stars, but people should just be aware so they aren't surprised. Basically, it does what it says.

Great product Oct 22, 2011
By LKS I just received my keysafe today. I haven't installed it yet, but have been playing around with it and set my pin code. The box feels very solid. It is a heavy, thick metal. The back is one solid piece. The face plate completely comes off the unit when the code is entered in. I have no doubt that my keys will be safe inside this product. The pin code can be entered in in any order as stated by other reviews, however, you cannot push all 10 numbers and get the door to open. No one walking by would be able to get into it by pressing all the buttons. The safest combo is a 5 digit one. I also purchased the weather cover for it and it fit perfectly around the unit. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone considering it.

Great Emergency product Jun 14, 2011
By pqjaci I live in a block of units with elderly residents. This product allows them to have not only a back up key for their own emergency but to provide 24 hour access for emergency workers.

Great Lock Box for our Rental Jan 01, 2011

Great item Jul 12, 2010
By jan KeySafe was the perfect solution for our key problem. We needed to keep our building locked, but wanted it available to others as needed. This was a simple solution for us. The only down side to this model is the fact that you have to reenter your code to insert the face back in the holder once you have used the key, but that is a minor inconvenience compared to the advantages of always having a key handy to unlock the door.
