fit quite nicely for my Dell Inspiron laptop Dec 17, 2005

I've a Dell Inspiron 8200, with 15" LCD. The laptop fits quite nicely in the main space. However, don't expect the AC adapter will fit along with the laptop, there isn't much room left.
You may find this info useful: The inside Width x Length x Depth for laptop space is 15.3" x 11.2" x 2.5"
the thickness of the whole bag is about 6"
There're a lot of small compartments inside the bag, but i found them not very useful. All in all, i still like this bag =)

A happy little home for my new notebook Jul 16, 2007
By Dane Shepherd I cannot imagine what could possibly be done to improve this case. The ballistic nylon exterior is handsome and durable. The contrasting gray interior with Wenger logo pattern is attractive and reminiscent of the finest quality luggage. The pockets and storage panels seem to hold everything I would need to travel light (spare CDs / DVDs, Palm Pilot, Leatherman tool, thumb drives, USB HDD, business cards, pens, etc...).
I am very much in love with this case. My 15.4 inch widescreen notebook fits very comfortably in the main compartment, but there is no room for the removable pouch or an AC adapter beside it.
This is a great case for day trips, or light travelers, but do not expect to bring along the kitchen sink.

I love this bag! Great for people with back problems. Feb 16, 2008
By CRIzso I can't review this bag without first reviewing the manufacturer. Wegner bags have great fabric textures, so they look trendy yet professional. I am comfortable taking a Wegner bag to any type of professional or casual environment. Another pro of Wegner bags is their superior durability and high level of protection for computers. When comparing Wegner bags side-by-side with the competition, it is very clear that Wegner bags are of a higher quality. Their cushioning is thicker and firmer. Their zippers are of a heavier weight and glide easily. Even the Velcro strap that holds the laptop in place is of a higher quality that makes it cling without budging.
The most important feature of Wenger bags is their ergonomics. This is especially important for people like me that have debilitating lower back pain and sciatica. When wearing the Impulse, my back is barely strained by carrying the bag for a long time. The shoulder strap is VERY comfortable and is made of a material that somehow grips my shirt so the strap doesn't slide off like other straps do. Furthermore, my hand doesn't get tired holding the handle. The bag isn't bulky, so it sits very close my body which reduces how heavy the bag feels. Plus, this bag doesn't do many of the irritating things other bags do like bounce when you walk, rub against your leg or put a great deal of pressure on one area of your side.
Concerning size, this bag can hold large amounts even though it looks smaller than comparable bags. I have put a large textbook and numerous notebooks in the bag with my laptop and had no problem closing the bag. There are pockets for everything imaginable, so I never feel unorganized. Also because each pocket opens widely I never feel like I'm digging in a bottomless hole like I do with bookbags.

Great bag for low profile users Jun 07, 2007
By Zacharie D. McClain

My wife has a 15.4" widescreen laptop, and we had been using a large pull-behind type bag. It held loads of gadgets, but it was too bulky for travel--it had wheels and a handle, much like a small suitcase.
So, the Wenger bags looked great and we bought this particular bag. It's very low profile, about 3" thick when empty and about 5" when full. The laptop takes the entire main compartment, but it comes with a small accessory pouch (that normally would sit beside a non-widescreen computer) which can hold the charger and various other cords. This pouch will fit on top of the computer and the main compartment can still be zipped.
The front compartment has many pouches for CDs, papers, pens, music player, etc. There is also a small "convenience" pouch on the outside, which can be seen in the picture. This is about 8" long and about 4" deep. Perfect for holding tickets, etc.
Good bag, am pleased with it. It won't hold your entire office (like our old bag), but it great for travelling on a plane or train where you must carry your laptop with you.
