Description

InFocus IN2100 series DLP Projectors with BrilliantColor technology eliminate the trade-off between color fidelity and performance. This projector series combines a 5 segment color wheel with 2500 lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. Advanced connectivity options include multiple computer and audio inputs and a wireless-ready port for easy upgrades to InFocus LiteShow II; making it easy to switch between presenters. An RS-232 port enables integration with meeting room control systems. The IN2100 series is built to last with DLP technology promising lower cost of ownership, longer life and improved reliability than other technologies such as LCD. These projectors are dust-free, having eliminated fan filters and lamp screen maintenance the IN2100 series is rated for 24 x 7 operation. The lamp lasts up to 3000 hours and when necessary can be quickly changed without removing an installed projector from the ceiling, saving time and maintenance expense. This product is intended for education, public sector and government agencies only

5Business Worthy  Jun 12, 2009 By W. Simonetti "Mantis"
I recently completed a procurement analysis in purchasing projectors for the office. For the value range between $400-$500, the InFocus Work Big IN2102EP Projector was a clearcut choice as the one to go with. Turned out to be true. The brightness is great even with the lights turned on during a presentation. In addition, the 2500 lumens can be had in only a very few projectors at this price range. The unit is a little bigger than desired, but it still is portable and relatively light. Easy to use/connect and a pleasure to look at. Solid choice for any kind of small office/business environment.

4Be able to see in the light of day  May 07, 2009 By Patricia A. Rupiper
This projector provided everything promised. During a bright afternoon I was able to project on a blank wall with no hindrance to anyone's sight. It handled like a dream and the carry case is nice. A great buy for the average needs of power point.

5Great for PS3  Sep 22, 2008 By ram "cub fan ###"
For the cost of this product, you get your moneys worth. I bought it mainly for movie watching but found out that its great for video games. Even with the echo-mode, the image is still very bright at 1800 lumens. Check out the image cuality with the pics i posted, keep in mind that its being shown on a regular wall.

4Excellent baseline projector  May 18, 2009 By Co2Castro "Francisco"
This projector gives excellent value for the money. It's bright, the colors more than adequate, and it's ease of use is excellent.

As far as I'm concerned, it's only failing is that it doesn't have a true optical zoon feature; image size is controlled primarily by altering the distance from the projector to the screen. You can do some small size change by toggling between native resolution, standard, widescreen, letterbox. But the primary control for size is still adjusting the distance between the screen and the InFocus.

Other than that, this is excellent.

I do have one recomendation for anyone who is getting this to augment their home entertainment center. Get an audio/video transiever unit. The transmitter would connect to your entertainment center and the reciever would connect to the projector. This would allow you the flexibility of moving the projector anywhere within a 150' radius from your video source, without having to rewire. All you would need to be concerned with is having a power outlet. Radio Shack has one for sale for $99 (Model: 15-126) and is worth every penny.

I took the projector and the reciever out on the patio and and was able to watch movies projected on the outside wall of the house with no reception issues.

4InFocus IN2102EP  Feb 14, 2009 By D. Tabler
The InFocus projector arrived in perfect condition and on time. The only problem was that the remote control was not in the box. The batteries for the remote were included but not the remote. This isn't a major problem as you don't need the remote to operate the projector. Before purchase I debated about buying a unit with higher resolution but settled on the Infocus because of the great price and a good previous experience with this brand. The projected image is very good and the unit is easy to operate. The two-speed fan is a little annoying but not a significant problem. The projector comes with a thinly padded fabric case that should protect the unit from scratches but probably not much more. All in all I'm pleased with the purchase.
