4Innovera CD/DVD storage case  Dec 02, 2008 By E. Cushman
The case is fine, sturdy and well made. The down side (not too far down, however) is that I spent 1/2 hour picking off the plastic pieces that needed to be punched out of every sleeve which hold the disks. These are round dots like that which comes out of a paper punch. There are 4 on each sleeve. If you don't do this, you'll find them all over the floor when you handle them to put the disks into. Each sleeve has 2 sides, with a plastic piece that needs to be removed before you can put a disk into them

These disks/sleeves simply sit into the case and are flipped through like pages in a book on edge. White paper self-sticking labels are provided for each sleeve if you want to title them across the top of the sleeves. 3 plastic dividers are provided which can separate the disk groups in the case.

Aside from this hassle, the case is good.

4Great, but I wish it was longer.  Apr 25, 2010 By John R. Sellers
This unit is great, but I evidently need more than one.

I use it a bit differently than advertised. I have put my all DVDs in slim jewel cases, and store them in the unit that way, but it only holds about 60 DVDs in those slim cases, so I guess I'll have to by some more.

4Easy to Use Storage w/o casess  Jun 28, 2009 By Emily L. Young "~emy loo~"
After reading previous reviews, I purchased this b/c I wanted CD storage in which I could be rid of what CD cases I have left. The sleeves are double sided and yes it does take a little time to punch out the holes. But the process is extremely easy! I have labled mine by complete albums/soundtracks and burned compliations. I even went the extra mile to use the labels provided to place the alphabet in each divided section.

If you want a simple solution to condense the room all your cd's take up, this is a great solution. It even has a lock. This won't keep people out, but is good to have latched for traveling.

3OK -- but a decent snap closure would be better  Jun 28, 2011 By R. Weigel
The boxes are pretty good, but you have to attach the "hinge" at the back by snapping a plastic pin through a hole in the top and bottom on the right and left sides at the back. It's not the sturdiest mechanism, but it enables them to ship the box unassembled with the bottom nesting in the top. Also, the lid doesn't stay closed unless you use the enclosed tiny key to turn a tab on the lid that engages with a slot on lower portion. I would have preferred an integral snapping closure or even a built-in dial that would turn the tab to engage the slot. It will be too easy to lose the key.

5Just What I Needed  Dec 27, 2010 By Shari
This little box is great! The plastic is sturdy and the box itself is a bit bigger than I thought it would be. The lock is a nice touch, although I don't have a need for it. I just need something simple to store all of my CDs, besides spindles (hard to find what you're looking for), cases (take up too much space) and books (difficult to rearrange in any kind of order). This will definitely keep my growing media library organized.

The sleeves themselves do need the plastic bits pulled out, as several people have mentioned. It's not a big deal. I usually buy inexpensive CD storage solutions - and everything with a low price tag tends to come with plastic bits needing to be pulled out. What's nice about THESE plastic bits, however, is that they come right out very easily. I've bought sleeves/books before where the inserts weren't entirely perforated and sometimes would rip the sleeve itself if you didn't pull them out carefully enough or cut them free. I didn't have any problems like that with the sleeves that came with this box, so I'm happy with them. And considering the price of plastic sleeves these days, this box is a great deal!
