1Cheap and useless  Apr 20, 2008 By James Grissom "writernyc"
The description of these boxes sounded fine, but once they arrived, and I saw that these "boxes" are actually thin sheets of cheap plastic that are folded into a "box-like" object, I was very disappointed.

The plastic is so thin and cheap that they perpetually fly open, even when empty. Once you place the lightest papers or office items in them, they bulge and the flaps come open.

Eventually, I just threw them away since I could not find a single use for which they could be employed.

1They don't make them any flimsier than these  Dec 20, 2010 By miloby
Files are delivered flat and are assembled by folding the plastic. There is no reinforcement along the seams or along the base, therefore you can immediately see that they do not hold their shape at all and require being stuffed full of sturdy magazines in order to remain upright. I am not sure what these magazine holders are intended to do... but you can't hold magazines in them and expect them to stay upright unless the following conditions are met:

a) they are completely full of very sturdy and squared off magazines, and/or...
b) they are stabilized by holders, books or what have you on either side

For my purpose, which is to actually hold magazines and expect the file to remain upright without supports, they are utterly inadequate.

4Economical, but a little Flimsy  Aug 26, 2009 By W. Mcbride
These boxes do require assembly. While they are a bit flimsy when used to store CDs or DVDs in paper sleeves, these boxes are a very economical way to store several hundred discs.

3Good for the Price  May 30, 2007 By Learning Teacher
Useful and colorful for storage. Handle stacking pretty well, but the plastic won't last forever. Temporary storage for young people on a budget.

1Lacking Quality  Apr 16, 2010 By Brandi L. Pratt "blPra"
You get what you pay for. The bottoms fall out and can't support the weight of a few magazines.
