Bought this for our daughter for holding her supplies and mobile drawing escapades. One of the internal compartment doors is pretty tough to open. The top doesn't snap shut very well. Would probably buy something else next time.

I was looking for something that would allow me to grab and go with all the tools I need on the shop floor: Camera, Tape measure, micrometer, spare battery, etc. This item gave me the base I needed to hold all of that stuff.

This clipboard is perfect for those of us who like to organize, which can be difficult on the go. Sometimes the interior compartments don't close perfectly, but they close well enough to keep everything in its place. I wouldn't recommend this for people who are clumsy, rough or perhaps too young to handle it with care. Not that it's necessarily cheap, but considering the price, it isn't the most sturdy clipboard on the market. It is, however, sturdy enough and perfect for Type-A people.
