5Great USB cord tamers!  Sep 17, 2010 By Topper (Linda)
I saw an article about using binder clips to tame USB cords and was just in awe that I'd never thought of it.

You sqeeze the wire 'handle' together to allow you to remove it from the black clip part, run the cord of your USB cable into the round 'hole' part of the 'handle' then squeeze the wires again to reinsert the handle into the black clip part.

Then just clip it to the edge of your desk or shelf. The USB plug rests above that round hole, ready to grab and plug in.. when unplugged you just guide it back into place. All your cords stay out of the way and untangled. You can grab what you want with ease, no untangling, no hunting for the right cable end.

I got the larger binder to be sure that it would clip to my desk. If what you will be clipping it too is not as thick you can get a smaller binder.

Finally, I've wrangled ALL my USB cables.. and then found that I could also use it for power cords that were unplugged when not in use.. safe, out of the way, yet easy to find when I had to plug in that odd peripheral.

5The best binder clips ever!  Aug 13, 2011 By H. Lester "Honest, no-nonsense reviews"
These are the best binder clips I've ever used! It's clear the company that makes them (in China, no doubt) has taken the time to engineer them with care and pride. They're well-constructed and quite durable, and, for holding lots of papers together, they beat heavy staples by a mile. Plus, no more unsightly holes in the paper! All this, and a good price from Amazon, made this a very good purchase :)

1Cheaply made  Mar 22, 2012 By Andrew Grant
Typical office product poorly executed. Made in China. Normally I wouldn't care if a small seemingly disposable item such as these clips were poorly made but Officemate seems to really be pinching pennies on these. For example all of the clips I recieved were scratched in some way. Two of them have burrs (from stamping?). Worst of all one was only painted on one side. For $5.50 I expect a lot better.

5Officemate large binder clips  Feb 16, 2012 By yarnlover
I've never seen such large clips before. These are fantastic to keep together all printouts of crochet patterns and recipes. They hold a lot!!! And I've got a lot!!!!

5Cheaper than chip-clips!  Jan 19, 2012 By Lunch
I use these things all around the house, but mainly in the kitchen. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the overpriced chip clips, and these work wonderfully! No need to pay $3 for a plastic clip that falls off easily, when for $5 you can get a box of 12 extremely durable metal clips.
