I am an engineer and I keep a journal of all my work, phone calls, rough calculations, site visit notes, etc. The Da Vinci Journal is professional looking. It looks so much better than the old marble covered composition books. The hard bound cover holds up very well. I take a journal with me on field trips in all sorts of conditions. I also take the same journal to meetings with clients. When the pages are full, I label the spline and it goes into the bookshelf. Looks good and wears well. I recommend this journal.

I've been using these books for work for 3 years. I was given my 1st one as a gift. I'm a VP, so I go to alot of meetings and document my notes in this book. Generally I don't tear out the pages, because it doesn't work well with this book. If you don't need to tear out pages, this is a great clean look at a great price.

This journal is beautiful and I love it. The outer material has a nice feel to it, great warm color and looks upscale. The inside is elegantly lined. This is going to be my go to journal from now on. My only complaint is that I wish it had more pages. 150 pages is nice but I would love one with double that amount too.

I was really looking for an alternative to my moleskin notebooks. I loved them, but they were almost too nice - I never felt comfortable writing in my moleskin. It pained me, and therefore defeated their purpose.
I found these on Amazon, and they're awesome! Perfect size, not too big, not too small; not too many pages, not too few of pages. The paper is great, it's heavy and isn't too slick. The moleskin paper was almost shiny, and would smudge easily. The pages in this one, not so much.
Overall, I love these. I bought three to begin with, and will stock up on them now. These are a great replacement to carrying legal pads around to meetings all the time.

This is a really nice notebook. The cover is of high quality with a nice subtle design. It looks like it will hold up much better than my moleskine does with a lot of use. My one issue is that the paper is too thin and a little bit too porous, so some pens may wind up with their ink bleeding through. It does, however, handle a regular bic pen really smoothly, which is very helpful.
