Fell apart after 1 week - Company Made Good on Problem Sep 05, 2010

While this item looks well designed, it did not hold up well at all. The glue to place the pads to the refrigerator holds up very well. The connection of the loops to the pads is very poor however and now I have a pad glued to the fridge with no loop to lock it with. Am trying to figure out a solution and havent complained much because I am basically screwed. The pad wont come off the fridge without damage so no return or replacement will help the situation. Do not buy this item.
I must edit my review after what I found to be outstanding service from the seller. They apologized for the problem, refunded my purchase price and sent me replacement parts to make my original part work. Could not ask for more and am now satsified.

Wasn't all that great Dec 11, 2010

I got this because my 4 and 2 year old get in my fridge and make disasters. My 4 year old was able to rip it off in less than a week, the entire pad came off my fridge. I am sure it was installed correctly, I cleaned and let the surface dry before applying it as well. I now have some wrecked food out of my fridge and for twenty bucks, this product really wasn't worth it. :(
Edit: Contacted Amazon customer service, who refunded my purchase price. Now I'll go use that to buy the strongest epoxy I can find and hope that I can secure it.
Edit again: Received a call from the actual company that sells through Amazon, they also have wonderful customer service and did everything they can to make the purchase right. My issue has been completely resolved.
Does not work as lock. Mar 01, 2011
By sky I figure a lock is not just to intimidate people to not enter it is to keep them out. My mom tried to open my fridge and pulled this off and left all the residue on the front of the fridge. It was not hard for her to get it off. It was super glued on with the glue it came with and stuck with the sticky foam it also came with.
Don't bother; May or may not work and customer service not worth the trouble Jan 30, 2011
By Peter T. I bought 2 locks: one for the upper freezer compartment and one for the main compartment of the refrigerator. The top one works fine, but the lock I installed to the main door fell off in a few days.
The panel-and-loop that is suppose to remain fixed on the left side of the refrigerator fell off because the panel was not flat but slightly bent and the adhesive was not strong enough.
Customer service was not as much help as they supposedly gave to the other reviewers. It really doesn't make sense too me why they just to pass me off to Amazon when they can try to help me directly. Guess it is bureacracy.
