ever see the perfect black garment, were it not for the stitched-in logo or hideously-executed contrast top-stitching? this mutes that. just ink it out. can use on dings on black shoes too. in pointillist mode - you strategically dotting away - you can disguise light stains on black clothing.

Yep. Sharpie is able to produce a marker that won't wash off laundry. Amazing. :-)
Really, this is a great product and I use it in combination with a product I sell. It's great.
Perfect to mark car covers Sep 02, 2011

I used this to mark my Noah car cover, and it works perfectly. The marks stay intact over time, even if they are constantly exposed to the elements. They do not get discolored by the sun either, which is really good.
Just what you need to mark a car cover.
I have no tried it with other types of fabric other than Noah but I am fairly sure it works just as well with any car cover fabric.

If ever you should find yourself confronted with instructions like, "Write your child's name on the inside waistband or neck of the underwear," this Sharpie Rub-A-Dub(R) laundry marker in black is EXACTLY what you need. It leaves a mark that's about as indelible as it gets. You don't have to keep one around just for that, though; at heart the Rub-A-Dub is a Sharpie medium-point felt marker. I use mine to address large kraft envelopes. Just remember to cap the pen when not in use because it is a felt-tip marker, not a grease pen, and can dry out when exposed too long.
