I had run out of some large red rubberbands I bought at least ten years ago. I couldn't imagine going without since we have found SO MANY uses for them. Holding lids on styrofoam coolers. Squeezing chair parts together while the glue dries. Ditto broken toys, vases, etc. Keeping groups of file folders together. The list goes on. I looked for more bands in the hardware stores and everywhere else I could imagine might have them, to no avail. But they were available on Amazon, naturally. These are probably better than my originals because they're a little longer. They're every bit as thick and sturdy. And the price was very reasonable too.
