Let's get this out of the way first: this is very expensive compared to the other collapsible hand carts on Amazon. However, this is also the best collapsible cart I've used. It's not as small or light as the cheaper models, but it makes up for it in sturdy construction.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but the wheels and toe plate are very large, which I appreciate. When using the cart, you have a choice of handles that rotate outward, or the top grip, which is bent backward slightly so your hand isn't trapped between the handle and the item you're moving (unlike cheaper collapsible hand carts).

The only thing I don't like about this style of cart: there isn't a bar between the wheels to rest your foot on when lifting or lowering an object. For really heavy items I've relied that bar to have a "controlled decent" when putting the cart upright. However, all collapsible carts have this limitation, so I can't knock this specific model for that.

The heaviest item I've moved so far is full-size arcade machine, which weighs 350 lbs.

I'll let you know if I run into any issues when I move in the near future... but as of now I highly recommend this.

As others have pointed out, this hand truck is a bit expensive. It seems worth it. This hand truck is 50" tall rather than the 39" typical of other units. It is easily handled. The lower 39" units are more like a roller luggage carry-on. This Safco unit is a true hand truck that can be pulled over stairs and moved easily.

It is sturdily built of aluminum tubes. The heaviest item I've carried so far is about 70 pounds. There is no flexing of the frame and it makes moving the load easy.

The 8" rubber wheels can be pulled up over, or eased down over, steps fairly easily. If the wheels were 10" it would be even easier, although as is it works well.

The unit open up or folds easily. A button on the horizontal bar allows the handle to be extended or collapsed. Pulling the toe plate out also opens the wheels. Pushing the toe plate up rotates the wheels in so they are parallel to the frame and lay flat. It becomes a flat unit no more than a few inches thick for storage. When collapsed it is easy to put the hand truck in the back seat of a car.

The toe plate is rather large which makes it easy to carry large items. I also purchased a steel cable bungee cable to help hold large items in place: Master Lock 3039DAT CamLok Adjustable Steel Cord Bungee Cord

The unit seems very sturdy. I suppose only time will tell.

So far I am very pleased with the hand truck. It makes moving heavy loads quite easy.

We bought this dolly to help move our daughter to and from College. It has been great.
It folds and unfolds easily which is a great feature for transporting in your vehicle. It costs a bit more but it is worth every penny.
Even though it doesn't have pneumatic wheels like similar capacity hand trucks, this thing works well.
The base platform is large so it is easy have a stable load.
It is very well made and a solid piece of equipment. Probably the only hand truck I'll ever need to buy.

The hand truck has good versatility and is easily maneuvered. In seconds, it folds to store flat and reverses to an open position equally as easily. It has solid tires. The platform is large and accomodating. It is very strong, yet light weight. Practically perfect.

I'm a musician in New Orleans and the down town side walks can tear up a collapsing hand truck this is the best one I have ever used to date it is very rugged and so comfortable to walk with my amp is very heavy and it is like walking with nothing, my guitar, amp and gig bag all fit on the large platform with no trouble, I am 6' 5" tall and I can stand up straight when walking my 6 blocks I have to walk every day saving me back pain - if you are serious about moving stuff then use this hand truck it simply the best one.
