5Great for the price  Nov 03, 2007 By James Shum "Gymn Shoe"
I typically like having a nicer pen for work and typically I end up loosing them, so I've purchased many over the years. For the price the Parker IM Roller Ball is an excellent pen. Nice feel in your hand (has some weight to it) and the roller ball performs well. May not be for foks who don't like rollerballs, but otherwise a excellent choice!

4Looks, feels expensive but isn't  Jun 30, 2009 By Robert G. Leroe
While I wish I could afford an expensive pen, I'm very happy with this Parker pen that looks and feels expensive. It is a quality product. I don't trust pens that click; I've had them leak, so one reason I bought this is that it is in 2 pieces, letting me securely close it. It is a guy's pen, heavy and thick, not slender/sleek. I use the gel refils which write smoothly (if you don't mind a more liquid ink). I'm very satisfied.

Update...it leaks! It ruined 2 dress shirts. Is it the pen or the refils? I don't know but I'm no longer happy with this pen.

4Great pen, for a desk guy.  May 12, 2010 By James Marley "whatever"
I've had my pen for over a year now. I've read the other reviews and agree with most of what was said. It is a great pen for the money. I had to buy a refill for it about a year into it. It writes great, and puts a lot of ink on the page. When people use my pen they first grab it and say, "wow, that's a pen," because of the weight.

The reason this pen gets 4 stars rather than 5 is because of the finish. My pen began losing it's finish and getting scratched up after a few months. I work in an office and sign a lot of documents. For a while I was putting it in my pocket with my keys or in my jacket pocket and bringing it home with me. I think that might be the reason for the scratching, but nonetheless, it doesn't hold up well to abrasive surfaces. If you leave it on a desk I think it will treat you well.

Pen is fine, but now just three months after I bought it the cartridge has begun leaking.
