How difficult can it be to make a plastic storage clipboard? Apparently pretty hard. The main folder meant to hold standard letter size paper pushes the paper out into the plastic clasp, crushing it when closed. The same folder also makes it more challenging to get the clipboard to close for carrying correctly. I like the compartments in the bottom, but that main folder is a deal-breaker. I paid far too much money for something that can't even perform a simple job.

It does everything I needed it to do, unfortunately it is very difficult to open as one of the sides always stick.

A little difficult to open as one edge or the other catches. However, it is the best covered clipboard available. It will keep your paperwork dry.

Great Art Supply Kit but poor design Jan 29, 2011

I used this to include art supplies for my 5 yr old. Divisions allow for crayons, markers, tape, glue stick, pencils, and scissors. However, the design of the paper holder is really poor. The paper slot was stapled/glue on too far from the margins so that 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper doesn't fit into the slots. Thus, I have to store papers loosely and usually they are crimped. The binding of the plastic slot is also raised and cut you if you are not careful. There is a "cover" over the divided compartments that keep things from sliding out of their place.

We bought this to hold 8.5x11 work orders for our technicians in the field. Simple enough request, that is what it is advertised to do. THEY DON"T FIT!!!! You can't close the lid with normal sized sheet of paper in it. Really, they made a clipboard for holding paper, that you can't close with paper in it? This is ridiculous. What a waste of plastic. Do not buy this if you plan on using it with normal paper.
Additionally, the workmanship is poor. The internal divider come out if you try to access the compartments underneath it. We will be returning these ASAP.
