Used two sets of these. They are FINE but I have seen finer and if you write very small it will run together. However, they will mark on just about anything, glass, plastic even better than a permanent marker pin and will take more abuse (scuffing or finger oils).

Excellent markers, except they do not last a long time like the regular Sharpies.
After minimal use my black oil based Sharpie ran out of paint and the tip frayed....
so if you have a project consider purchasing multiples of the oil based Sharpie color that you need...

I bought this marker to write on wine glasses for a bridal shower. They are easy to use, not-messy and look great on glass. The writing will stay on if you run water over it or if you run your finger over it. However, the paint can easily be scratched off of the wine glass with your fingernail. When hand washing the glasses I needed to be careful not to rub hard and I also would recommend air-drying or gently blotting with a towel. Rubbing hard would remove the paint.
Overall this type of marker will work well for the intended purpose. I just need these wine glasses to look good for one day. I rated this 4 stars- the only downside is that it is not permanent when used on glass.

These paint markers were luckily exactly what I wanted (didn't know really what I was looking for at the time). They take a good while to get going (paint to the tip, ready for use), but after that they work perfect, no messes.
