Description

The fully-adjustable Split-Level Lap Top Desk goes beyond what you'd expect! Use the split-level stand as a presentation or lecture stand, laptop computer stand, audio/visual platform, reading stand, or as an over-the-bed table for hospitals or home care. The two platforms' angles adjust independently, and adjust in height together from 26" to 39.5" from the floor. Rails at the top and bottom of each platform keep items from rolling off. This rolling laptop desk includes casters for easy mobility, and will lock when stability is needed. With a lightweight metal frame, and scratch-resistant thermofused melamine surface, this lap top stand can go anywhere! Weight capacity is 100 lbs. The unit itself weighs 24 lbs.   Assembly level/degree of difficulty: No Assembly Required.

1Dissappointed  Jan 05, 2009 By Crunch
Currently I am about to lose this entire table as the plastic rings that slide the table on the bar have busted and no longer will support my laptop. The first half hour of putting this together, the screws ripped through the wood of the small table when I tried to tighten the table so it would not keep tilting.
You can not put much pressure on it nor can you tighten it to stop the angling.
I had only the big table to work with and after two weeks of constant adusting and 3 times of my laptop falling backwords onto the floor the plastic rings have broke and I can no longer use the large table.
I attempted to get ahold of the seller twice with no response.

This is a horrible product for it's price. It looks beautiful but is not practicle. I to have 17" laptop which is quite common these days. I was not aware this could not support much as nothing led me to a weight restriciton when i bought it.

5Good quality and value, beware item color vs. photo  Nov 02, 2011 By Jeff Pittman "Jeff"
I bought this directly from Wayfair (formerly CSN Stores) because I wanted confirmation about the color. This item is available from Wayfair in cherry/black, cherry/silver, mahogany/black or maple/silver. I wanted the item as shown on the Amazon site. The Wayfair phone rep told me the pic is of the cherry/black, *not* the maple/silver in Amazon's text. I ordered the cherry/black and I'm pretty sure that's what I got, although the color of the wood veneer is less reddish on the actual item than in the photo. Close enough to suit me, though. Just bear in mind that the item description and the photo do not match, although there is a maple/silver version available. You're just not seeing it here.

At this price point you're not getting fine furniture, but you probably knew that already. That said, this is very sturdy and solid, really easy to put together and very stable even on carpet (no caster does carpet well). Looks good too. I have a similar item in another room that is serviceable, but the Wayfair item is way better in every respect, including appearance. The other one looks and feels, well, cheap, and this item doesn't. I'm very happy with this.

5Similar Item - One of my FAV personal items EVER  Sep 23, 2011 By Alina Meakin
I found this after doing a search for "Rolling laptop desk, mouse level with adjustable height". I was pleased to find a different colored version of my desk I use on a daily basis; and have used for over 5 years now. I have no clue where my ex-husband made the original purchase of this baby - but I'm so glad he did. It totally changed my life. I use to stay cooped up in specific areas that I could work with my wide laptop. With a large base laptop - it's not as easy to just sit down anywhere and tote it from place to place. I now can enjoy sitting with my family in the living room and do my school work. I would also be able to join my husband in the bedroom and it rolls right under the bed and sits right above your lap. Ready to vacuum? Just unplug - and roll it away to where you want it - put it back when you're done. You also typically hook up a wireless mouse to it. I love the ability to lower the mouse level compared to the computer level. I also typically have a slope of computer > mouse. (can't do the mouse too much - as it will roll across the screen.) I'm a bit surprised at the high price of this when you can find comparable, NON-rolling items for at least a third of the price. The rolling wheels on mine lock, which I've never locked on purpose. My dogs have locked them many a time though. Any time I have had company they ALWAYS ask where I got it, they say how awesome it is and tell me how original it is. I think if this is the desk you choose to make your laptop life a little more convenient - you will be more than satisfied.

3Has drawbacks  Jan 15, 2012 By Amazon fan
Once I got it put together and used it for a couple of days, I'm not as pleased with the functionality of the stand. It has limited adjustments on the tabletops because it becomes unstable when tilted. Rollers also stick. I've gone back to my lapdesk.

3Not as pictured or stated...  Jan 04, 2012 By A mom
If you're looking for a laptop desk in a VERY light, almost blonde color wood, than you'll love this item. I expected maple, so I am not pleased with the misrepresentation. Also, the smaller shelf height is not adjustable and is very low. My rating is...just ok.
