To whom it may concern;
I wanted to let Amazon and Stanley know how important it is for them to keep the hook blades in stock at all times. I recently found out that Stanley merged with other companies, this caused my distributor in the sales department not to set up a contract for purchasing. Not sure why? However, he says that he has been getting the run around from all contacts withing the new Stanley Corporations.
Stanley please make this purchase easier for all of us. The 4 to 5 week delay is not convienent for any of us who need them on the spot. Please consider keeping this item in stock.
The Stanley hook blade is a great blade. The hook blade we use from Stanley helps us get the work done that needs to get done in a timely manner without breaking. I really don't want to switch to a newer product, because honestly, there is not much competition that competes to the Stanley Hook Blade.
I did some research, and found a new vendor. Anyway~~~ it is new to me, Techna Edge hook blades. Stanley watch out!! I'm going to have to start using Techna if you don't get your stock full for all of us hook blade users.

Sorry I didn't get back with you yesterday. I've been back and forth with Stanley. I still don't have an answer on when they are going to be here. I am very upset with Stanley because they told me they were shipping last Thursday, then when I called yesterday she said she doesn't know why they haven't shipped because there was plenty of stock...then I called back today and another girl told me there was no stock! I am waiting on a call back from them and I will let you know.
I am sorry for the inconvenience! With items like this that Fastenal does not keep stock on, we are at the mercy of our vendors.
