This stapler has substantial heft and a pretty big footprint, but is worth the space it takes on your desk. It really IS easy to use, and perfectly staples thru 70 sheets at a time (or just two.) I actually counted out 70 sheets of paper to try it, and was amazed that it worked! The best thing, however is how EASY it is to staple thru even a THICK stack of paper - like a presentation deck, for instance. It requires high capacity staples (not the standard kind) but they are not expensive and the stapler includes a good supply to get started with. Recommended!

I bought this b/c i staple 40-50 pgs at a time. I was surprised the 1st time I used it. It has some sort of leverage system built into it, besides the obvious lever, that makes it staple easier than a regular stapler. looks great works great. Highly recommended.

I had an opportunity to get this stapler through the Vine Review program. I already had a stapler on one desk, but thought it might be nice to have one on the other. I got so much more than I expected! The picture I saw made the stapler look like a small hand-held model. Instead it is a large desk model and doesn't look at all like an ordinary stapler. The first thing I did with it is drop it on the floor (accidently, but it didn't hurt it at all) but that showed me how easy it is to open it to put the staples in. An easy push on the back button and it pops open. No yanking and pulling. The thing that really amazed me was when I stapled something. I have arthritis in my hands and find many motions very difficult (thus dropping the stapler initially). This stapler was so easy it was like stapling butter. A very easy motion and it was done. My husband looked at the stapler and got all technical on me and explained why it worked so well. I didn't care about the why. I just realized I had allowed a marvelous, easy, easy, easy stapler into my home. For those wasting electricity for staplers that are easy to use, you could save on your electric bill by letting this stapler do the work for you. Easy, terrific stapler. Great for those with hand problems, even better for those without. And with the great Swingline name, you know you are getting quality!

I was concerned when I opened this and saw part of it was plastic, however, the "working" parts are all metal and it does a very good job. The up to 70 sheet capacity is important for the thick documents I work with.
Very pleased with it!
