 sturdy and convenient reference holder Oct 16, 2009

The stand and spine are metal and therefore sturdy enough to live if you somehow knock it onto the floor. The pages also are heavy duty and look ready to last. I like the way you can start with one spine and expand to 3. It is very heavy, but to me this is an advantage as it is not easy to knock over or disturb from its location unlike other brands which are plastic and unsteady. I know we're all going digital but sometimes this kind of reference is very handy.

I will have this document holder from now until I retire from teaching! It is exactly what I wanted and it was at the best price! I did my research. It's a great tool for organizing papers you use everyday and want readily available and don't want to plaster them all over a bulletin board.

The description said I would receive a Desktop Starter Set with 10 display pockets. All I ever got was a metal base. I complained to the company and heard nothing back to date. Amazon said I could return it, but couldn't be promised return shipping credit. Very disappointing purchase. I feel taken advanage of.

This Tarifold desk reference set is a very nice product. It is very sturdy and strong. Mine arrived today and my husband put it together in 10 minutes! Papers fit nicely in the sleeves and I like that they are color coded. A must have for anyone with a office.

While I have seen other similar items that might be slightly more attractive than this unit, when it comes to functionality this is as good as any.
