It doesn't fly well, isn't the most easy to roll, but it handles rain with aplomb. Apr 19, 2010
By N M I purchased this product in April of 2010. It arrived in perfect order, looking brand new with labels on it, instructions, and locks "blocked" with plastic on it set to 000.
Pros: The box is sturdy. The inner rails excellent for holding letter or legal files. I accidentally left the box outside overnight, full of paperwork. It rained long and hard overnight, and after realizing my error in the morning, I brought the box inside, wiped it down with a towel, and opened the box to find that everything was perfectly dry on the inside.
Cons: Rolling the box around, the handle doesn't come up high enough to be completely comfortable for me at 6' tall. I had to fly on Delta in April of 2010, and I used this box to carry paperwork to California. I checked the box, but used Delta's more "careful" service for more fragile items. Unfortunately, even with this care, the left wheel nearly completely snapped off during the travel to California. The box now doesn't roll, and I left the box in California. If you're planning on flying with - don't.
Overall: A good product, it handles rain very well, but if you're a road warrior and need a product that will take lots of abuse, look elsewhere.

Just what I was looking for! Apr 27, 2010
By Redryno I ordered this product from the Shoplet supplier. I ordered it on Thursday, and it showed up on Monday, 2 days before Amazon's delivery estimate. The product came in new condition with all tags, the box was a little damaged during shipping but the product survived without a scratch.
One of the features that I didn't see listed on the page was that the telescoping handle locks in both positions (in or out), so you can push or pull while rolling. This also helps if you are pulling the box downhill, so the handle doesn't collapse and the box hits you in the ankle.
I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to take files with them.
Update 1/30/12 - almost 2 yrs later and product is holding up nicely. I did drill out the rivets and move the handle up 2 inches so it does not hit me in the heel, I am 6'.

Great for files - or anything else you want to secure lightly Feb 01, 2010

I have been using this item (without wheels) for a couple of years and I have nothing but praise for it.
It is well made and the combination locks work well and it's easy to change if you want to do so. The combination can be in the locked position while it is open and you can relock without having to let everyone see the combination when it is open. (I also own a smaller chest which works equally well - except the combination can not be locked before closing the latches. The locks look identical.)
I use it to keep honest people honest in an office like setting. The cost of products not taken has paid for this chest many times over! It gets a little heavy to move, so I am looking forward to getting the wheeled version.

Great rolling case! Nov 15, 2010

Sturdy case. Not the heaviest of duty, but is made with good quality. If you are a professional needing a rolling case I would recommend it.
Office Depot and Staples charge rip-off prices! Amazon has the best price at around $50.

Nice design, but poor build quality Oct 08, 2010
By Robert Beard I'm a student, and I got this case a little over a month ago to transport books to and from class. Office Depot sells a similar (and much cheaper) collapsible file cart, but I sprang for this because I liked the design. Unfortunately, the build quality of the case just isn't up to the task. The collapsible handle is already loose and wobbly; one of the latches on the case doesn't catch securely; and, worst of all, one of the feet on the bottom of the case has partially torn off. All of this in 5 weeks! It's hard to imagine the case will be usable by the end of this semester.
Summary: This case has nice features and a professional look, but it can't stand up to ordinary wear and tear. If you need something for everyday use, look elsewhere.
