It's advertized as a pencil box, but it can be used for so many things. I use it as a makeup storage case. It's sturdy, well made and cute as hell!

The Vaultz Pencil Box Bling Skull is very cool and sturdy, just the type of pencil box i wanted for my 6 year old son. He loves it and so do i but my only let down is the fact that the lock is complicated for a 6 year old to operate, where if you are locking you turn the lock once to the right and extract the key and if you are unlocking you turn the key once to the left, but with this pencil box you have to turn the key twice to the right to lock and even so the key is still a bit difficult to extract after locking. To unlock its the opposite now where you have to turn the key twice to the left and you still get the difficulty of extracting the key. The reason i bought this was because it locks, which would help in stopping the other kids from takin his stuff, but i cant lock it now as this might be trouble for him when time to use his stationery. Nevertheless i like it , he loves it and we'll see if everything works itself out.

I purchased this product in blue for my son. We are going to use it to store his cellphone and small valuables while he is away at camp. The box is extremely sturdy and it comes with 2 keys. This box can easily fit into a backpack and can be used at school for the same purpose. I was thrilled to find this item.

I ordered this little box (which looks like a miniature steamer trunk) for my 12-year-old "Goth" daughter after the zipper of her favorite skull & crossbones pencil pouch broke. While searching for a replacement, I was surprised to discover that (despite the widespread popularity of vampires, pirates, Emily The Strange, and manga/anime such as Soul Eater and Death Note) accessories to suit my daughter's style and sensibilities were very difficult to find. Furthermore, the flimsy cloth pouches that did meet her stylistic demands were priced similarly to this hinged, hard-sided, durable, unique little case. The sparkly deep red hue and metal, securely affixed skull & crossbones add to the charm. (A school friend asked why she was carrying a "box of death," which amused the two of us for days.) My only criticism would be the keys, which are flat & generic (tiny skeleton keys would add immensely to the case's charm even if this increased the price), and tiny -- making them easy to misplace. Fortunately, the case does remain latched when left unlocked, and the little lock can be picked somewhat easily. The keys are a minor con when measured against the pros of this adorable little box.

I bought this to keep my medication in and keep the kids out of it...it locked and I loved the skull and cross bone design on the front. I even measured out the dimensions..the wrong way...LOL! So, it gets here and it is way to small for what I wanted it for, but my son is the coolest little boy in his 3rd grade class...he has a locking pencil box! Definitely worth the money...but, if you want to put meds in it..no way! It has to be at least a 4x6!
