Great looking videos Apr 25, 2010

I wanted a better video then what I was currently getting so I took a chance on this one. I liked what I read about it. It was supposed to be high resolution and would switch from day to night mode. I have to say I wasn't impressed at first but after hooking it up to a high res. video input signal instead of my networked security DVR I was pleasantly surprised on how well the video was coming in. I couldn't wait until night so I could see how well it looked at night and if it could see anything at all. I was happy to find I actually had night vision now. I can see from my front steps to the tree in front of my house with it's wide angle view. The ir leds light up most of the view except the very edges but the rest of the edges comes in just fine as I have street lights around the house which lights up the rest of the area. The mount on the other hand works in just about any configuration you may need. There is a hole in the bottom and the back for the double ball joint mount. So far I've had no problems with it and I don't see any in the future. The camera is a little bigger than my other ones but a good trade off for the quality I'm getting. If you need to see a wide area either in the day or night, then get this one as the video looks great. Keep in mind that the camera uses the 1/4 turn video connector and not the RCA type so you may need an adapter if hooking to a VCR. Great product! thanks...
