5Sturdy, Yet Affordable  Jun 02, 2008 By La senda A. Crowe-Prado "Sophisticated Shopper"
This product was extremely easy to assemble. It's simple, yet classy. I was very pleased to find that it has ALL WOOD components instead of that cheap particle board. It is sturdy, yet affordable.

5winsome wood rolling comp station  Jan 07, 2010 By Sally Jones
I am very pleased. I took the time to do this review because I relied on the postive comments from previous purchasers of this computer station. The size, color and design worked great for me. I appreciate that it is wood. I did have to touch up some of the wood and the middle shelf is not substantial enough for a printer...removed it and put my all-in-one printer on the lower shelf. Works out great.

3Unhappy  May 03, 2010 By Curious Ray "curious_ray"
The engineer who designed the wood part of this cart really knew what he/she was doing. That's why I am reluctantly giving this three stars. The unhappy surprises began, however, when I opened the box (which was held closed by a very amateur taping job). (1) THERE WERE NO INSTRUCTIONS! (2) Because of the excellent design, however, I was able to figure it all out, but I advise you to stay alert, especially to the proper positioning of the back panel behind the keyboard drawer. Unless you were one of the fortunate few to receive an instruction sheet, you will note that the panel can easily be put on upside down, making the securing of the center support impossible. (3) Also watch out for the allen wrench they supply for putting in the heavy-duty screws; it is made of softer steel than the screws and so, on the very last screw, the wrench gave out with about a quarter of an inch to go. Fortunately, I had a wrench the right size of my own. (4) The brass (or whatever) drawer handle looks like an afterthought. (5) The magnets that are supposed to hold the keyboard drawer closed don't work very well, but then, I can't remember any such magnets working well on anything--just bump the drawer slightly and it falls open, even after several attempts at making adjustments. (6) Watch out for the little steel pegs that are supplied for holding up the center shelf. They fit loosely and could easily get lost, and they did not supply extras. (7) The wood finish was bummed in several places. I used touch-up markers but... well, you know how tacky that is. (8) The final insult was the overall height of the unit. The top surface sits 32" above the floor. I suspect that the unit was originally designed for smaller casters, and when the caster size was increased, no compensation was made for the height.

So why didn't I return it? I'm retired and must walk with a walker. Now how'm I gonna do that?

3Good computer cart  Jun 07, 2011 By Hue Lam "desnoogie"
Overall I do like this desk. I am happy with the purchase.

Good-
*Wheels are nice and solid (not cheap plastic wheels), rolls really nice on wood floors
*Made of pieces of wood, not pressed particle boards
*Well packaged
*Good height for work space

Bad-
*Center shelf is very thin (needs to be made better), mine split when I put it in place. Cannot hold anything heavy
*Center divider is held to just the base
*Screen holes do not line up as well (this happens with all put-it-together yourself projects)
*The door to keyboard area does close well

5Good Quality & Affordable  Nov 09, 2009 By Erica M. Atkinson "blondie"
This computer station was just what I have been searching for. The item was delivered much faster than I expected, which was a wonderful surprise. Even though the pieces came without stickers to to identify better during assembly, assembly was still pretty easy, and I was able to put it together by myself. The only negative I could think of is that the silver handle isn't as secure as I thought it would be. It only has two screws that hold the plate that folds over the edge of the keyboard drawer. Still looks nice, and you could always replace the handle with something else. Love this item and love that it wasn't cheap particle board, but solid wood and veneer. Great buy!
