This bag is useable, just cant zip it when the laptop is inserted. I measured twice and added 1/2 inch to each side for good "measure". Nope-didn't work, my daughter uses it but the laptop sticks out.

this bag is great I use it for my lap top sometimes and other times I use it for a travel dvd player with dvd's it is great and super cute. small side pockets and inside is pink padded with a zipper closer. I love it!
