Great Pen! Nice, fine, reliable line Jul 08, 2007
By E.H.
"Super Hero PhD"
Though I have not purchased this pen through Amazon yet, the pen itself is as advertised. Due to my writing style, the finer line I can get the easier it is for me to read and take notes. This is my favorite pen by far. I have gone so far as to buy them myself for work, just because saving the few dollars and using the pens in the office is not worth the hassle!
The red and blue pens are always extremely useful for underlining passages of articles and making notes. The small pen tip allows for even tiny, margin writing to be legible!
As the previous person noted, these pens can be difficult to find offline, but the dedicated Office Supply Stores often have them.

the finest line. ever. Dec 14, 2006
By K. Olson I am on a constant hunt for the perfect pen featuring style, extra-fine reliable lines, and the ability to write on all types of paper. i've spent up to $40 on single pens in the past.
this pen is the closest i've come yet.
0.38mm tip as advertised, other pens claim small lines but do not actually deliver. one caveat, fine point means you heavy handed folk won't enjoy this much, but you probably already know that.
gel ink: acid free, dries relatively quickly. one downside: doesn't work so well on glossy paper.
this pen is cheap, and refills are also available if you wish to go that route.
i fly airplanes, and these pens are reserved for my logbook. Also, the pens have become extremely difficult to find offline, and i fear their eventual disapearance.

Amazing Mar 31, 2008
By kaardsma By far my favorite pen. Very smooth and fine writing. Anyone that has borrowed one from me has loved them as well. I would strongly recommend to anyone!

Not all that it's hyped up to be Feb 11, 2011
By Fred Wang After using the Pilot .38 mm's for a few months, I decided to give Uniball a shot. Overall, it's an elegant pen. What I noticed immediately from switching was how light it was. This is all a matter of personal preference, but the Pilot G2 gave me a more solid writing feel. I got used to this in a few months though. After using a pen for a few days, however, it stopped writing. I checked the ink levels and they were still half way full. Thinking I must have got a lemon, I grabbed another pen, and within 2 days, it too, failed on me on moderate use. As a college student, I take a 10-20 pages of notes a day and work through a few problem sets in pen. At a little under 2 bucks a pen, this is a bit of a disappointment.

Great for writing, but terrible life. Jun 14, 2010
By C.K.N. This pen writes wonderfully and clearly. However, it runs out quickly, and is pretty expensive. It's been six days and I've already used up 75% of one cartridge. For comparison, I'm a student and am taking a summer class.
